What time block should I enter for better photos.
My Dog loves the game but I want the good shots!
We all want the best photos of our dogs enjoying the games we take so much time to master and it can be hard to know when is the best times for those awesome title shots.
Light and photos
Those coveted early runs are great dont get me wrong especially if you have a dog like mine. But those first 2 time slots are not where you want to be if your looking for crisp clear photos.
If your dog is a darker coat color your looking for those 3rd or 4th slots its still cool and the sun is up these are also where you will get that golden halo effect on your dogs.
If your dog is a lighter shade the early slots are still going to be ruff but alittle easier, mid day is what you want to avoid the sun is its harshest and esspecially if your dog is white it will turn your dog into a eye blinding orb that may or may not cause sudden blindness (joking but they do get overexposed and hard to correct)
Setting up a track?
While we do know this cannot be done all the time but if you ask me, I prefer a North to South facing track it keeps the light pretty well even allows for some cool silhouette shots in the early morning light.
